Quite a decent Izakaya in Vic Park. The food was fresh and tasty. Prices were good too and the dishes were generous. Disappointingly they were not licensed so alcohol is BYO with a surcharge - a bit odd for an Izakaya if you ask me. The atmosphere was loud but fun.
Delicious food. We ordered the sashimi platter, wagyu beef, tendon soba, fried squid (ika), takoyaki, udon and unagi. To be honest, the most recommended dish was the wagyu beef and the ika fry (squid). The unagi isn't like the eel from usual sushi- it is a little bit powdery. The takoyaki was good but probably focused a bit too heavily on the batter (good for entree). Sashimi is A-Grade! Scallops were our favourite here. A selection of ramune too. The Tempura serve was very generous on the Ten Don. Great dinner!
The atmosphere is very nice. Definitely a good place to celebrate an occasion. The food was good. I had the yakiniku beef (a bit too overcooked) bowl and prawn croquettes (good, would order again)
Stopped by with my family and the food was absolutely delicious! Service could have been better but when itโs dinner time and packed out spot, understandable that it took a while to get served. Otherwise delicious!
Just loved it! If youโre looking for authentic Japanese food, look no further. Five star Japanese service that makes you feel as if youโre dining in Japan itself. The only downside is the waiting time to be seated, as the space is quite small. Still, well worth the experience
