We came without high expectations, but this place turned out to be a hidden gem. The nigiri was so fantastic It was a pleasure to enjoy such great Japanese food after a long time — thank you.

I came here because of the many positive reviews, but I was quite disappointed. This was honestly the worst sashimi I’ve ever had in the Gold Coast; it simply wasn't fresh. I wonder if it’s related to the recent change in management. The service was okay—the staff was proactive in providing children's cutlery, but they forgot to mention that the miso soup is self-service. I won't be returning.

prices have definitely inflated from what i’ve seen on TikTok and other reviews, but there are still affordable dishes. loved the pork katsu don ($16) which was so flavourful and a really balanced tasty dish. their miso soup has a rich taste

First time here (tourists from New Zealand). The service, food and atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. The restaurant may not look that great but it’s one of those “out of the way” places you have to visit. Arigatō.

My favourite Japanese restaurant in Gold Coast. I visit this restaurant every time I am here. The sashimi is so fresh, absolutely top quality food. Only downside is that the restaurant is small, so get there before it opens to avoid disappointment of not being able to dine in.
