Service was different for different patrons. Food was average very expensive for the presentation (no garnishes at all). E.g. if it says steak with sauce there's literally steak with sauce, no vegetables, no flowers, no nothing. Every dish was very of "something", too creamy, too fatty, too dry, too salty... Staff were nice to some and careless to others (us).
From the moment you step in, it is so welcoming with the warm greeting and the ambience. The food was perfectly executed and drinks were really good too. The standout of the experience was the customer service. Both Marina and James went above and beyond. They had amazing recommendations and were genuine with their service. Highly recommend! Thank you again for an amazing experience!
Incredible experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully done. The eggplant sticks were life changing and the raw fish was so fresh and beautiful. I went for my birthday and was immediately greeted with a warm happy birthday, and they even gave me a handwritten card. That small but thoughtful gesture elevated the entire experience and made my birthday feel truly special. The staff were so genuine and attentive, it really felt like they wanted to be there and help. Was a beautiful memorable night! A huge thank you to the ChoChoSan team 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Great food, beautiful interior, hard to find parking. Place is always busy with a few days they actually close. Food always comes out delicious - we had the Cho Cho San feast and the highlights included the Kombu Prawns, Kaarage and the Short rib. Few dishes didn’t hit the same highs as those but overall an enjoyable experience. Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable and we sat at the tables which were hidden away to the side. Gets loud in the place but it is a nice atmosphere.
We booked Cho Cho San for their brunch offering which included a selection of sharing plates and bottomless drinks. Great selection of dishes which filled us up very quickly. Great vibe for friends and catch ups. Definitely need to come back to try the rest of the menu!
