A small Japanese/Korean restaurant with a very appealing range of dishes. Everything I have tried here has been good. There is a variety of Japanese beers available. We have only been there for (late) lunches and has always had other patrons and one tome when we were earlier, it was quite full. So we aren’t the only ones who think it is a good find.

Food：The food here is absolutely fantastic. We ordered a Bulgogi Bento Box (served with Miso Soup), a Teriyaki Mayo Karaage Cup, and a Pork Tonkotsu Ramen. Every dish is delicious and authentic, capturing the true essence of the cuisine. Service：As first-time visitors, we received great service. The waitress was very patient when taking our order, kept a smile on her face throughout the process, and answered our questions carefully, making the experience very pleasant. Atmosphere：The restaurant has a perfect izakaya vibe that matches its name perfectly. It’s not very spacious, but it’s clean and tidy, with Japanese-style decorations everywhere that create a strong, immersive atmosphere.

Had a great time at Haruya Izakaya! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The salmon katsu was crispy on the outside and perfectly tender inside, the edamame was a great light starter, and the salmon taco was absolutely delicious — fresh, zesty, and well-balanced. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Japanese-style dining with a modern twist!

This is our favourite little spot for amazing Japanese. Such a great lunch today. Fresh salmon and tuna poke bowl, teriyaki salmon don, vegetable gyoza and a karaage bento. All the flavours were there. Generous sizes and super fresh and delicious. Today my daughter commented we didn’t have food this good in Japan. Highly recommend!
