Wow, vegan food so delicious and simple. Also cheap, Just yum. Though there is not much seating at this small Japanese restaurant near the Hamilton station end of Beaumont Street the food is worth waiting for a table. There were heaps of vegan options and the tofu udon noodle bowl I had was absolutely delicious. And only $15 I can't wait to try one of their many clearly labeled vegan options, though it will be hard not to order the same again.
What an amazing find?! Everything was so fresh and tasty; an absolute delight! We thoroughly enjoyed the kingfish sashimi, takoyaki, tempura prawns, chicken karagge and tonkotsu ramen. We'll be back!
Itโs worth the wait โ definitely the best Japanese restaurant in Newcastle in my opinion!โ I wish this place were open on weekends too. Their opening hours are quite short, so I canโt visit often, which is always a bit disappointing
One of the best japanese restaurant I have went to in NSW. The fish was all fresh and delicious, and presentation of the food was beautiful. Especially the Ramen, after I went to Japan and had their authentic Japanese Ramen none of the Japanese restaurant here in NSW could match. However this restaurant's Japanese Ramen is the closest to the authentic Japanese Ramen in Japan here in NSW that I have tried. Normally with all these perks the price is out of this world however relative to other establishments it's very cheap for what you are getting (around $20 per dish). Will highly recommend to try though a warning ahead, the lines can get long.
Food is actually okay (quite decent), eel mostly store bought since they will add an extra cost for word โmade from scratchโ. served with kinda like agedashi tofu but this is not coated with batter and served cold, along with the pickled vegetable, and thinly sliced omelet. I know it was during lunch time and probably very busy in the kitchen, they literally served my food after 30 minutes after paying my food. I just wasting my time for visiting another places like cafe since I traveled from another town. Itโs a common sense to tell the customer if the food will come more than 15 times and this this 15 min x 2. Honestly I wanna try another menu. It makes me confused that people behind me (4ppl) got served less than 10 minutes, literally 4 ppl but 3x faster than me.
