I ordered the Beef Tartare Nigiri, which should be raw or at least semi-raw, just like the photos shown on the menu. However, what I received was fully cooked beef โ and it was cold. I asked the staff about it, and she confirmed that this was indeed the Beef Tartare Nigiri I ordered. I pointed out that it looked completely different from the pictures. Instead of explaining or offering a solution, she laughed briefly and walked away. I was honestly speechless at that moment and forgot to take a photo. My partner felt that since it couldnโt be resolved, it would be a waste to throw it away, so they ended up eating it. Overall, the food did not match the description, and the service was disappointing.
Overall, a pretty good experience. The sushi and takoyaki were excellent, definitely the highlight for me. The noodles were a bit too soft for my liking, and the beef had a slight smell. On the positive side, the environment was really nice, clean and comfortable, which made the meal enjoyable. Would love to come back again if the hot dishes improve a bit.
I love Ichiban Suchi; itโs so convenient for my daily meals. The food is great and budget-friendly.
I didnโt have a high expectation. We planned to dine at another restaurant but they couldnโt accept walk-in for 8 pax so we ended up here because we were hungry. As a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprise by the vegetarian food options. The food was delicious, my friends who ordered other dishes also satisfied. The portions were generous and the service was prompt.
Ordered a decent amount of dishes from here. The quality of the sushi was good and the staff were very nice and very quick to bring out the food. Everything tasted nice and fresh and I loved the diversity in options. It was good to see that they did not over rely on sauces and other condiments to carry the flavour of the sushi.
