We’ve visited this place before when around Belconnen, but this time the food quality was a bit disappointing. We ordered the spicy mentaiko cream udon and the butadon. The dishes didn’t quite match the photos anymore, and the overall quality felt lower than before. The butadon was fairly average, similar to food court-style food, and the cream udon had thinner sauce with ingredients that didn’t come together very well. Overall, the dishes didn’t feel like good value for the price. We also ordered the roast beef entrée, but the sauce was noticeably on the salty side.. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was still pleasant, but I hope more attention can be given to improving the food quality.

We didn’t have a booking and the staff were able to accommodate us which was great. We really enjoyed our dinner here. The salmon sashimi was fresh, the roast beef dish was great with the tangy slaw, the corn ribs were super tasty and the chicken tarekatsu dish was nice and crunchy. The ageshi tofu was the only dish that was average but overall food was fantastic and great value. Near the lake so great location for a before or after dinner walk.

The food is great but portions were not. It was also not cheap for the size. I really like their modern take on casual Japanese dining. If bento boxes were offered in this format, it would be delightful.

My boyfriend and I both love Asian food. The pork katsu egg don is nice, the egg at the bottom is of huge portion and is hot. The beef don is average as it’s a bit cold and the portion is small. A pretty good place consider we are even in Canberra 😅

5 star is underrated for this restaurant. It’s got an amazing vibe. The food came in so quick and the staff are very welcoming. The food was amazing!! Would definitely recommend for the future dine out. Give this place a go!
