Stunning family owned Japanese restaurant. Sashimi was first class and service impeccable. We loved watching the chef slice the fresh fish at the bar

We went out for dinner with some friends and the food took over an hour to arrive. The vegetarian options were almost non-existent, and the sushi was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered the salmon avocado roll and the salmon was cooked and extremely dry — it looked more like tuna and didn’t seem to be good quality at all. I’ve had much better sushi from street stalls for half the price. I definitely wouldn’t come back to eat here. Such a disappointment!

The ingredients taste fresh. My favorite was the kingfish head in sweet soy sauce. The waitresses are all very helpful, they gave us recommendations and also showed me the pictures of the dishes.

I went for dinner on a weekday. Although after 7 pm many customers came over even though it was a weekday. I recommend having a reservation. I ordered Edamame, Agedashi Tofu, Yakitori, Tempura Chicken Tenderloin, Duck Tataki, and Sashimi Platter. Small salads came with them. The upgraded Sashimi Platter was several pieces with different parts of the same fish, such as belly and back, and different ways of cooking, like raw and grilled. It was interesting to compare the taste in parts and ways. Some vege tempura were stuck together. I may have eaten them too late, sadly they were cold and not that crispy. My best recommendation is Duck Tataki. The sweet soy sauce was a great match for the sliced duck tataki. I couldn't stop eating even though I was already full. Overall, the taste is very good. But compared to the price which I paid, I give it 3 stars. I mean it was very delicious so it was kind of expensive. But there are still amazing dishes I would like to try next time. I am curious about the hot pot that smelled nice from the next table.
