I tried both the Tokyo Ramen and the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen, and they were both excellent. The Tokyo Ramen had a rich, comforting broth with perfectly chewy noodles that felt very well balanced. The Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen had just the right amount of heat, and the crispy pork cutlet added a great texture and flavor. Overall, everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and I would definitely come back again.
With a quiet atmosphere and great food, Kodya brisbane is great for people trying out Japanese cuisine or just hungry people. There is a variety of mouthwatering dishes here. The waiters are very knowledgeable and well mannered and the food came quick-approximately 6 or 7 minutes after we ordered. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. There is a TV in the back playing some anime and some posters around the room. Overall the restaurant was super great and I would 100% come here again. ๐๐ป
We had lunch there and thought that the portions will be small so decided to order some starters as well, but eventually from the same order we brought back home dinner as well. Everything was very tasty !
If youโre looking for vegetarian-friendly Japanese food in the heart of Brisbane CBD, the vegetable tempura don at Kadoya is a solid choice. The bowl comes piled with crisp, golden-battered vegetables over a bowl of rice, with a savoury donburi sauce that ties everything together beautifully. Itโs hearty, satisfying, and has that homely comfort food feel. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which makes the quick, efficient service even better.
The server was nice and friendly. Ordered a dipping noodles and a beef udon, they offered a small chicken salad with rice for free! What a surprise! Overall was good, but the udon was a bit too salty for me.
