I had the tantanman ramen with extra egg. Arrived less than 5 minutes after ordering. Very tasty ramen, the noodles are thin but tasty. Would recommend...
Very interesting meal at Kazumi. I ordered the Golden Set โ one ramen, one topping, one side, and one soft drink. I chose the shoyu ramen, which had a wonderfully balanced flavor โ not overpowering, with noodles of great texture and a generous portion size. Their house chili oil added just the right level of heat. The ramen itself felt like a blend between traditional Japanese style and a Chinese northeastern twist. The beef chunks were hearty, infused with that familiar Chinese spiced-braised flavor. The gyoza stood out as well. Instead of the usual thin wrapper and garlicky, finely minced filling, these had a thicker skin and a juicier, heavier filling more reminiscent of soup dumplings. Even though the side dish included only three gyoza, the flavor and richness made it feel like a small main course โ satisfying and bold.
It's a very bad dining experience. I used to come here because the taste was really delicious, but today there is a foreign body in the noodles. When I asked the waiter, she didn't answer the question and went to entertain other guests, which made me very angry. Did the waiter use ignoring to serve the guests?
We'd been to the Norwood store so I knew I was in for good ramen before I walked in. It is tucked away between Gouger and Wright Street but is findable. Excellent tantanmen ramen - so much flavour. Their chilli topping is the perfect combination of heat and flavour. Great staff. Quick service.
Today, we passed by this new ramen shop and discovered it just opened. When we went inside, there were no other customers, only the two of us. The restaurant was very clean, and the restroom was also spotless. We ordered two bowls of ramenโone was mushroom ramen, and the other was the first option on the menu, though I forgot its name. The mushroom ramen broth was a bit salty, but the deep-fried items were delicious. The broth of the other ramen was quite tasty. Overall, the noodles were really good, and I liked them a lot. If you're craving authentic Japanese ramen, you should definitely try this place. The deep-fried tofu was also perfectly crisp and square-shaped, but I wish there was a little more sauce. If I could offer a suggestion, it would be to reduce the saltiness of the mushroom ramen broth. Also, you could consider putting a sign outside the store because we only noticed it after seeing another restaurant's voting sign. Wishing you much success in your business!๐๐ป
