We went out to dinner with my family for my cousinโs birthday. Our show lasted less time than we had to wait for it to start, and we felt it was over far too quickly. We noticed that the other tables were given more of a show than we were. We werenโt asked if we were celebrating anything special, so nothing special was done for the birthday girl. The chef we had seemed to be the most experienced and he was very good, but we expected more of a show for what we paid. Weโve been to other restaurants of the same style and had better experiences. Maybe we were just unlucky, because it seemed like the other tables received much more of a show.
I took my daughter for her 20th birthday. We live in Perth and booked this based on reviews. We were not disappointed in fact it was so wonderful next time we visit QLD we will make a special trip just to see Gavin. He made it so special for us and the food was phenomenal! Thank you ๐
From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The food was nothing short of spectacularโevery bite was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love. But what truly set this place apart was the staff. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, they made us feel like honored guests from start to finish. Itโs rare to find a spot that nails both the cuisine and the service, but this place does it effortlessly. Canโt wait to come back!
What it said on the menu: Chicken Teppan Fried Rice $24.80 Sizzling fried rice with tender chicken, cooked on a teppan for a delightful fusion of flavors. This isn't fried rice, it's steamed rice from a rice cooker, slapped on a hot plate for a moment, it wasn't sizzling, it didnt have tender pieces of chicken, nor a delightful fusion of flavours. it was bland, tasteless, with no flavour at all!! in no way resembles what it is described as above on the menu. The chicken is cut up so small you can't even tell if it's chicken or rice, not tender not even chunks big enough to bite. Not even the smallest hint of flavour, not garlic, not salt not pepper, just the taste of plain rice that was not friedrice , it was heated on a hotplate yes, definitely in all my years of travel and hundreds of places I have ordered this, it's never looked like this, nor tasted like horrible plain ricecook3r rice. I asked for teriyaki or garlic soy sauce, never got it, or gave it to me , I've tried to get a refund as I'm not eating that. And I ordered 2. This is nit ok nor acceptable.
Amazing teppanyaki experience! The chef Desmond, was hilarious โ juggling utensils, cracking jokes, and even made a flaming onion volcano.๐ฅ The food was just as impressive: tender steak, perfect fried rice, and tons of flavor. Dinner and a show โ highly recommend
