Service was fairly quick and friendly. Ordered the tofu Bento which had great flavours and was quite filling.

so delicious, good portions, reasonably priced. the food felt authentic and like it was made with care. both of the ice creams on the dessert section of the menu were delicious, u must get them both together! service was also very nice and felt attentive, the interior is also nicely designed and pretty💓

The wait was a bit long, but totally worth it! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The sashimi was so fresh, and the sushi was amazing—especially the wagyu beef sushi, which was melt-in-your-mouth good. The ice cream at the end was such a nice surprise. Can’t wait to come back!

A gorgeous restaurant with very comfortable vibes and top tier service. The food is insanely delicious, authentic, great portions, and well priced. They have a great selection too of both food and drinks, hot and cold. This place feels like a hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant and I consider this place my new go-to for amazing Japanese food. I personally had the teriyaki chicken bento box - I tend to eat a lot but definitely felt full from this serving size.

Momiji Japanese Restaurant in Newstead is always a great dining experience. Their sashimi is excellent, especially the Shimesaba (vinegar-marinated mackerel). The slight torching gives it the perfect balance of sweet and sour without any fishiness, love it! I always order some extras. Their bento options are also varied and well-priced, making it a great spot for a quality Japanese meal.
