Celebrated my birthday at Omakase Prefecture 48 and it was truly exceptional. We were welcomed warmly on the first floor and enjoyed some drinks at the bar before being seated. The service throughout the night was outstanding. Every ingredient was incredibly fresh, with highlights like lobster, scampi, otoro, and calamari. The calamari was the standoutโ€”cut with such skill that it literally melted in my mouth, exceeding all expectations. The omakase course was long but perfectly paced, with the chef and side chefs explaining each dish individually. The atmosphere was lively with several birthday celebrations, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for impeccable service, fresh and expertly prepared seafood, and a memorable omakase experience.

I really like the venue. This was my first time at Prefecture 48 Omakase, and I was impressed. When we arrived, the host kindly invited us to the Whiskey Thief Bar, where we enjoyed drinks while we waited for our booking time. Once our table was ready, we were invited upstairs. We had booked the long course and thoroughly enjoyed itโ€”the service was excellent throughout. We also ordered patisserie from downstairs and they bring it up for finishing our dinner. It was tasty. Weโ€™re already looking forward to coming back, and Iโ€™d also love to try the other restaurants in this building. P.S. While we were enjoying our long course, I noticed that guests next to us who had opted for the short course experienced longer gaps between dishes. This seemed to happen because they had to wait for us to finish the items that were unique to our menu. Even our own course had some waiting time, especially during the โ€œnigiriโ€ portion, as the chef prepared each piece individually. I didnโ€™t mind, but I do think a slightly quicker pace would be even better. Perhaps in the future, more preparation behind the scenes could help ensure a smoother experience for both long and short course guests. Thank you so much for a memorable night.

Chef Takashi Yamamotoโ€™s Wagyu Omakase was an amazing experience. The ingredients were super high-quality and generous, with rich, marbled wagyu, fresh lobster, truffle, caviar, and uni. Each dish was beautifully done and full of flavour. A really special and enjoyable meal from start to finish.

Was there for my birthday and it was the first day of the new menu. Chef Horikawa was courteous and explained to us the situation. His perfection to food is just unmatched โ€” every dish was executed with precision and care. The flavors were balanced, textures thoughtfully paired, and presentation absolutely beautiful. Itโ€™s clear he pours his heart into each plate. Despite it being the menuโ€™s debut, everything felt well-rehearsed and seamless. The service was equally attentive without being intrusive, and they even surprised me with a small birthday gesture, which made the evening even more memorable. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates culinary artistry.

A wonderful complex with few different restaurants. I think the concept is very good and rare in Sydney. The starters are very normal nothing surprised. But when start the sushi course, the chef is well knowledgeable and professional. I think the food source was limited his skill. But the sushi definitely is one of the top!
