"I was really looking forward to trying this place out and made a special trip into the CBD today, only to find a handwritten note on the door stating they are closed from January 1st to 4th. While Iโm sure the food is excellent and everyone deserves a break, itโs disappointing when holiday hours aren't updated on Google Maps. It ended up being a wasted trip and a lot of travel time. Please consider updating your digital hours in the future to be considerate of your customers' time! Iโd still love to try the food once youโre back open."
Grabbed a quick takeaway of their rice bowl lunch special to take back to my hotel, but couldnโt resist an entree of Tori Karaage while I was there. Staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, place was very clean and well maintained, and the food was spectacular. The sukiyaki beef rice bowl was well presented, very tender and incredibly flavoured meat, generous mix of salad and rice. The Tori Karaage was perfection. Beautifully seasoned, well cooked and incredibly tasty.
Local gem! Sushi is good and so was the takoyaki! Wish I tried the raw fish as well but will definitely be back for more :) Ambience is not amazing but defo one of those places you rock up for good food and donโt care too much about everything else
Great little spot for good sushi and sashimi. Usually fairly easy to get a seat and itโs next to a bunch of other good restaurants. The sashimi was fresh and the unagi was flavourful and filling. It wasnโt anything that was a wow factor, but it does the job with some great service to boot!
Delicious, tasty, fresh, made to order. Teriyaki chicken rice bowl (spicy on request) was perfect, and vegie roll (made on request for allergies) served with wasabi and ginger was excellent. Walked in and was fortunate to get a table outside on a lovely Saturday evening. Book for a guaranteed table. Will return!
