Ordered the takeaway chicken yuzu, and when I got home I noticed the chicken was very pink, making it inedible. I paid $22 for some broth, noodles, and half an egg, which is ridiculous. Even if the chicken had been cooked, this portion is tiny for the price. Would not recommend.
Visited on Saturday evening and a bit disappointed tbh. Everything was oversalted to the point the kiddos lips were red. The soups were lacking in depth of flavour and the chicken wasn't crispy. Nice venue. Staff friendly but unfortunately we left unsatisfied.
On a weekend trip to Torquay and going here was definitely the highlight of my holiday! The food was exceptional and the service was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back here again. Yummy!
Nice ramen restaurant, we were staying nearby, wanted to eat some decent Asian food so we decided to give it a try. Good selection of menu items and we tried all the go-to items when dining Japanese. Beef rib ramen was the highlight, meat just slides off the bone, soup base was tasty. Oyster mushrooms karaage were delicious, however the beef tataki was a let down, came out medium well to well done, sad to see any good chef let that one slide. This is something that makes or breaks a dish unfortunately. Still overall very good.
While the owner isn't Japanese, the food is simply delightful, especially the wonderfully fragrant beef tataki. The dining ambiance is superb, and the staff couldn't be more welcoming and attentive. The proprietor's warmth and friendliness add to the overall charm. I'm eager to revisit.
