Really enjoyed TenTo in Surry Hills. The food was fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. Everything we tried was excellent. The space has a cool, relaxed vibe and feels great for a casual dinner or a night out. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you like good Japanese food. Would happily go back.
I was really excited to try this place as it looked so unique but I was quite disappointed with the food. It’s pretty expensive and it’s just alternative but doesn’t actually taste like anything incredible to me. I had the chicken broth ramen which came with grilled chicken but the grilled chicken was quite good and filled some veggies which were also quite cold. The chicken wasn’t tender either and the broth didn’t hold a lot of flavour. The gobo chips were so good and the sake was delicious and I loved the glasses they served it in. I’d come here again for maybe drinks and snacks but not mains. The service is excellent and it has a really cool vibe.
I visited the restaurant on Sunday with my friends for breakfast. That was my first time here and I wasn’t expected anything from this restaurant. I just wanna enjoy my weekend with my friends but presentation of the food surprised me. All the dishes we ordered was decorated so fantastic. I love the snappers ramen. It tasted so yummy. While the clear soup of breakfast setto is a bit tasteless for me. I also love the service of the staff. Since we sit on the table. The waiter came to our table and offer us the recommendation. That was the first impression and we appreciate for what he did. When the food was served, Thai lady came to our table and she know that we are Thai. She presented every single dish and recommended how to eat each dish with the components to make the best flavour of each dish. So I reviewed this restaurant to say thank you for every staff here.
One of the best brunch spots in Sydney. It’s quiet, it’s extremely flavourful and i think some of the best service as well. The food comes out really quickly, and the range of stuff they have is great as well. I think it’s a perfect date spot too if you want somewhere that is light and high quality. Will obviously be coming back
We came here for dinner, but since it was full inside, we had to sit outside where the heater wasn’t really warm enough. The food looked absolutely stunning, but the beautiful presentation didn’t match the taste. Both the eel rice and salmon rice we ordered were quite bland - under seasoned, while the ramen seemed well-seasoned and authentic. Overall, the food was unusual and acceptable, but the 10% weekend surcharge felt unnecessary, especially given that the dishes here are severely overpriced. The staff, however, were absolutely wonderful—very friendly—and they gave us a 15% discount because the food came out a bit slower than expected. They had clearly had a very hard day due to being short-staffed, so I’ll give the restaurant 3 stars instead of 2.
