Really nice ramen place, just as expected! The 20-hours broth was rich and delicious, and the portion size was generous for the price. Everything was well made and very satisfying. While there wasnโt a standout โwowโ factor, itโs definitely worth trying if you enjoy good ramen. However, the wait can be over an hour and a half, and honestly, itโs not worth waiting that long for. But overall it was a great experience and Iโm glad I tried it.
Excellent chicken ramen. The broth was very tasty, creamy, and well balanced. It was not overly salty but quite rich, so great if you enjoy deeper flavours. I donโt usually like chicken ramen, but this place changed my mind. The toripaitan ramen was served in a very generous portion. The tori chashu was tender and well cooked, and the ajitama egg was excellent. Atmosphere was great, with everyone seated around one large communal table, which made it feel more intimate. Service was outstanding, and the food came out quickly. Highly recommended, especially if you like rich broths.
Attracted by the theme rather than food, outcome was no surprise. Very Aussie rather than Japan as a whole. Ramen, similar style to a famous shop in Ginza, Tokyo. Only good thing is the yuzu pepper on chicken chashu. Broth is decent, everything else not so good. Potentially best ramen in Adelaide as per IG, definitely not the best in Aussie. If rate this in tabelog, would be around 3.2 out of 5.
I been to many ramen places in adelaide and we can say this is the one if you are craving for real Japanese ramen. I already been there twice and both times were so good!
Tried the signature Tori Paitan ramen today. Authentic Japanese flavour with a rich, creamy broth. The chashu and chicken were super tender, and I loved the crispy sides in the ramen. Easily one of the best ramen Iโve had in Adelaide. Will definitely be back. We queued for about an hour, but the staff and owner were very kind, lending umbrellas and offering cold water while we waited. Small suggestion: a basket for ladiesโ handbags under the table and a ticket system for the queue would make the experience even better.
