I had the Thai green curry ramen at Towzen, and this was my third time here, which says everything already. The ambience is incredibly calming, and the food is absolutely divine. Shout-out to all the staff for the excellent service. Truly top-notch. The aroma is so rich that the food hits you before it even reaches the table. Itโ€™s deeply flavorful, comforting, and surprisingly filling. While itโ€™s a little more expensive than your average ramen spot, itโ€™s completely worth it. This is what you get when you combine outstanding service with exceptional ramen. Everything is 100% vegan, and I honestly love that so much. Canโ€™t recommend Towzen enough!!!!!

We heard about an amazing Vegan Japanese restaurant named โ€œTowzenโ€ from friends in the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. On our recent Sydney trip we had to try it and we are so glad we did! We had not made a booking as it was a spontaneous decision for our Thursday dinner; yet upon arrival, Darryl kindly greeted us and sorted a table for the four of us, thankfully it was possible on this day but for future reference, I recommend booking 1-2days ahead. The space was so calm, clean and tranquil, very thoughtful spaces and wonderful service. The foodโ€ฆ let me tell youโ€ฆ the food was divine. We tried dumplings, so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The plantbased โ€œeelโ€ was also delicious, my 8 & 10 year old daughters raved about it and enjoyed every bite! We also ordered the karage with rice, small salad and miso soup- so delicious! And last but not leastโ€ฆ the most popular ramen dish did not disappoint! It was creamy and with a depth of flavor. Thanks so much for the nutritious and delicious meals! In addition, we tried the strawberry matcha and also the hot black sesame drinks. Super nice, like a warm hug :) appreciate this satisfying experience and exchange of culture, five stars and highly recommend! Food from the heart that leaves you feeling full yet light. Will definitely return next time we visit Sydney!

The food was amazing, especially the ramen, which tasted incredibly authentic and well-crafted. The soymlik base was rich and full of depth, and every ingredient felt thoughtfully prepared. On top of that, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. This is definitely an authentic ramen spot thatโ€™s worth coming back to. ๐Ÿ˜

One of my absolute favourite ramen spots โ€” even my meat-eater friends love it. Highly recommend the Kyoto soymilk ramen, truffle ramen and hemp charcoal ramen. Also donโ€™t miss out their house made mushroom karaage, vegan unagi, and Uji matcha latte - every dish is beautifully balanced and full of flavour. The service here is incredible. We were lucky to have Daryl introduce us to the different ramen options and broths, which made the experience even more special. Definitely book ahead as it gets busy. Truly grateful to have found this amazing vegan ramen place ๐Ÿ™ ็ฅๆ„ฟ่€ๆฟ็”Ÿๆ„ๅ…ด้š†๏ผ ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿœ

Delicious Japanese food that's also completely vegan! The restaurant is located inside a heritage building which gives that lovely vintage character to the place. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful - even with a full restaurant. We had the mushroom karaage, the silken tofu loaf, gyoza, ramen and the soy pudding for dessert. The taste was excellent and the substitutions worked very well for the traditional dishes. My favourite dish was the ramen - the noodles were just right and the soup was the perfect combination of cream and oil. The service was exceptionally quick - I cannot say that I have been served that fast! I highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience.
